The suspect broke through a rear window at a home in the 400 block of Deerwood Street around 1:30 p.m. Sunday, according to Sheriff Leon Lott.

The suspect ransacked the home and stole $35 in cash from the kitchen before leaving, Lott said. The suspect returned to the home on Wednesday and tried to force his way through a rear window, but was unsuccessful.
