Columbia man dies after colliding with car on his motorcycle
A Columbia man died Thursday after he was hit while riding his motorcycle on Abernathy Street, according to a statement from the Richland County Coroner’s Office.
Robert Deshay Garner, 38, collided with another car Thursday afternoon at about 6:35 p.m.
Garner was taken to Palmetto Health Richland Memorial Hospital, where he was pronounced dead at about 7:30 p.m., according to the statement. His cause of death was ruled as blunt trauma to the torso.
