A woman who was on trespass notice for taking off her clothes at a Columbia Bojangle’s restaurant was arrested after again getting naked at the restaurant and shouting profanity, according to police.

The incident happened around 8:30 a.m. Sunday at the Bojangle’s on Elmwood Avenue, according to a Columbia Police Department incident report.

When police arrived at the restaurant, they saw 43-year-old Sonyetta Hayes undressing at the side door of the business, according to the report. They asked Hayes to dress and pickup her pants, which were on the ground.

Hayes picked up her pants and walked away, then threw her pants on the ground, police said. She walked away using loud profanity and causing a scene.

An officer asked Hayes repeatedly to stop but she refused and continued walking away “at a fast pace,” police said. She walked to the front steps of a business on the 2000 block of Park Street and continued using profanity and racial epithets.

As the officer approached Hayes to arrest her, she took off her underwear and exposed her genitals to him while making “sexually explicit remarks,” police said.

The manager of the restaurant told police Hayes was on trespass notice from the restaurant for an incident three weeks earlier, during which she was completely naked on the property, the report states.

Hayes remains jailed in the Alvin S. Glenn Detention Center on charges of disorderly conduct, trespassing, larceny and littering, according to jail records.
