After woman sexually assaulted in Lexington Target, police seek man

Lexington police are seeking a man they say assaulted a woman inside the Target on Sunset Boulevard, according to a police statement.

The man inappropriately touched the woman on Friday while she was shopping at the store, according to the statement.

The woman was browsing when she was approached by a man she didn’t know, according to the statement. He began to touch her inner leg, and she confronted him.

The man claimed the touches were an accident and walked away, according to the statement.

The man is described as an about 6-feet-tall slender man with brown hair and dark facial hair, according to the statement. During the alleged assault, he was wearing a white shirt, dark pants, black boots and a grey and black hat.

He left the Target parking lot in a dark gray car with tinted windows.
