Lexington County business robbed twice in 10 days, police say

A Lexington County business was robbed twice in the last two weeks, according to a statement from the Lexington County Sheriff’s Department.

The business, which is on the 3000 block of Fernandina Road, was visited twice last month by thieves with a truck and flat bed trailer, according to the statement. Police di dnot identify the business because they believe it is being targeted, spokeswoman Colby Gallagher said.

The first theft occurred on July 22, police said. A video of the crime showed a man at the back of the business arranging a flatbed trailer and calling others to help him.

Another man and a woman joined him at the business with a dark colored pick-up truck, according to the statement. The group drove away with unspecified objects.

The second theft was on July 29, according to police. A lone man loaded objects on a flatbed trailer and drove off, according to the statement.

Deputies are asking anyone with information to contact Crimestoppers at 888-CRIME-SC.
