Truck stuck under Columbia train trestle blocks road near Assembly Street
Whaley Street became impassable Thursday afternoon after a truck got stuck under the bridge there, according to a Tweet from Columbia Fire and Rescue.
A Bud Light truck didn’t quite fit under the about 12 foot clearing, getting stuck on a train trestle, according to the Tweet.
The road closed near Assembly Street at about 2:30 p.m. The truck was pulled out by about 2:50 p.m.
Columbia police responded to the scene.
