Columbia man dies after one-car crash
A Columbia man died after a single-car crash on the 5900 block of Bush River Road, according to a statement from the Lexington County Coroner’s office.
Guy Wardell Barkdull, Jr., 62, died after his car left the road and hit a tree, according to the statement.
Barkdull crashed at about 11:45 a.m. Thursday, and died at the scene, according to the statement. He was wearing a seat belt during the crash.
The S.C. Highway Patrol is investigating the crash.
