One person was killed in a shooting at a Richland County gas station Sunday morning.
It happened around 9:30 a.m. at the Exxon gas station on the 9400 block of Wilson Boulevard, which is just off Killian Road in northeast Richland County, according to Deputy Cynthia Roldan, spokeswoman for the Richland County Sheriff’s Department.
A man was shot in the upper body and either walked or drove off to a nearby lot, Roldan said. He was later taken to a hospital and has died.
The identity of the deceased will be released by the Richland County Coroner’s Office after the next of kin is notified.
