Men robbed at gunpoint near Columbia’s Nickelodeon Theatre, police say
Columbia police are searching for a man after an armed robbery was reported to the department on Christmas Eve, according to a statement from the police department.
The suspect is accused of holding two men at gunpoint on Main Street inear the Nickelodeon Theatre at about 3 a.m., according to the statement.
The armed man stole watches and gold bracelets from the pair, according to the statement.
The suspect is described as being a tall, thin man wearing a toboggan, hoodie, pants and white sneakers. Investigators also believe he may have a goatee and a tattoo on the left side of his neck.
The man should be considered armed and dangerous, according to the statement.
