Columbia man, 36, dies after early morning crash, coroner says
A Columbia man died after being involved in a crash Wednesday, according to a statement from the Richland County Coroner’s Office.
Latron D. Pauling, 36, was driving near the 8200 block of Wilson Boulevard when he was involved in the 3 a.m. crash with another car, according to the statement.
Pauling was taken to Prisma Health Richland Memorial Hospital, where he died Thursday, according to the statement. An autopsy showed he died of complications related to injuries sustained in the crash.
The S.C. Highway Patrol is investigating the incident.
