Richland County deputies arrested two suspects after a fight over beer led to gunshots.

Paris Moody, 19, and Kendall Rious, 21, have both been charged with attempted murder, according to department spokesman Lt. Kevin Lawrence.

Deputies were called to the Mallard Point Apartments on Hallbrook Road just before midnight on Wednesday, Lawrence said. A man told officers he’d gotten into a fight with two suspects over a beer.

The man said he got into his car to leave, and the suspects shot at his windshield, Lawrence said. The man wasn’t injured and was able to drive away.
