Man stabbed in separate robbery after Forest Acres bank heist, deputies say
A man was robbed and stabbed in the Forest Acres area of Richland County on Tuesday, deputies said.
It happened around 3:30 p.m. on the 6700 block of Satchelford Road, which is just off Two Notch Road near Fontaine Road, according to Capt. Maria Yturria.
A man flagged down deputies and told them he had been robbed and stabbed, Yturria said. Officers saw several lacerations on the man’s upper body. He was taken to Prisma Health Richland hospital.
No arrests have been made, and the investigation is ongoing, Yturria said.
The deputies who were flagged down were working a perimeter after Tuesday’s armed robbery at the S.C. Federal Credit Union on Forest Drive, Yturria said.
However, they determined this was not the suspect authorities were looking for in connection with the robbery, she said.
