Lexington County student injured in bus crash, highway patrol says

One student was injured after a crash involving a school bus in Chapin, S.C. Highway Patrol Trooper Lance Cpl. David Jones said.

A school bus driver was letting students off at Amicks Ferry Road when the crash happened at about 3 p.m., Jones said.

A car parked behind the bus was hit by another car and pushed into the back of the bus, Jones said. One student sustained minor injuries in the crash.

It is currently unclear which school the student attended.
