Missing SC teenage girl has been found, deputies say

The Columbia Police Department located a teenage girl who was reported missing Sunday night.

Kayla Grace Taylor, 15, was last seen at her home in Irmo around 10 p.m. Sunday, according to the Richland County Sheriff’s Department. After Richland County deputies requested the public’s assistance, people called in with tips that led to Kayla’s location.

Columbia police found the girl safe on Assembly Street. She is being reunited with family. Richland County Sheriff Leon Lott expresses his thanks to the citizens who called in with tips, deputies say.
