Sumter County deputies are looking for two suspects accused of trying to burglarize a Mayesville-area convenience store last week.

Two men were caught on surveillance cameras trying to break into a business in the 4500 block of Florence Highway using a chain and their truck just after midnight Wednesday, according to department spokesman Braden Bunch.

The suspects first attached a chain to the front security doors of the building an hastily drive off in order to pull the doors away, Bunch said. However, the suspects realized they forgot to attach the chain to their truck.
