Lugoff man facing criminal sexual conduct charges

A Lugoff man facing criminal sexual conduct charges was arrested and charged with two counts of criminal sexual conduct on a minor under 14 years of age, the Kershaw County Sheriff’s Office announced Monday.

Donnie Lee Hudson, 32, was arrested May 13 and charged with two counts of criminal sexual conduct on a minor under 14 years of age, the sheriff’s office announced, in connection with a case involving a 13-year-old girl. No other details were available.

Hudson was taken to the Kershaw County Detention Center where he later was released on a $110,000 bond, according to a news release.

But after an additional investigation by the sheriff’s office, another warrant was issued charging Hudson with a third criminal sexual conduct on a minor under 14, a third degree offense, the news release said. He turned himself in Monday on the additional charge and was taken to the detention center, where he was awaiting a bond hearing.
