Do you recognize this armed robbery suspect? Richland sheriff wants to know

Richland County Sheriff’s Department is trying to identify a man who robbed a Farrow Road gas station at gunpoint.

The man was captured on security camera footage at the BP Corner Pantry around 1 a.m. Wednesday. He can be seen on video approaching the clerk before he produces a handgun and has the clerk fill a paper bag with money.

The suspect then made the clerk lay face down on the floor before he fled the scene, the sheriff’s department said in a statement.

The man in the video is seen wearing a dark jacket, a red cap and a black, thick-rimmed glasses.

Anyone with information about the crime is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-888-CrimeSC.
