Lexington police looking to ID suspect accused of armed robbery at BB&T
Lexington police are looking for a suspect accused of presenting a gun and demanding money from a person making a night deposit at a local bank.
Taco Bell employees were making a deposit at the night deposit drop box at BB&T at 309 Columbia Avenue around 1 a.m. Sunday morning when a man approached them on foot, Lt. Carroll W. Bledsoe Jr., a department spokesman, said.
The suspect presented a firearm, demanded the bank bags that were to be deposited and fled on foot, Bledsoe said.
