Pair of SC drug raids leads to 11 arrests for heroin, meth, trafficking and more

A pair of drug raids in Aiken County this week, including at one location described by deputies as a “drug den,” led to 11 arrests and a multitude of charges involving heroin, methamphetamine and drug trafficking.

The Aiken County Sheriff’s Office announced the arrests in a news release Friday.

The first raid happened Tuesday, Jan. 21, when investigators served a search warrant at 233 Carline Road in Warrenville. Thirteen people were found inside this “drug den,” along with meth, heroin, two handguns and $8,000 associated with illegal drug sales, according to the sheriff’s office.

Five people have been arrested and charged from that bust, according to the sheriff’s office:

  • Tammy Celeste Powell, 47, charged with trafficking methamphetamine and trafficking heroin
  • Christopher Shane Blitchington, 41, charged with possession with intent to distribute heroin and possession of marijuana
  • Heather Hall, 26, charged with trafficking methamphetamine
  • Rhonda Ennis, 49, charged with possession of methamphetamine
  • Scott Allen Dabbs, 33, who had an outstanding warrant for trespassing

Two days later, on Jan. 23, six more people were arrested after a search warrant was served at 1802 Two Notch Road in Aiken. Again, 13 people were found at the house, along with marijuana, meth, heroin, prescription drugs and drug paraphernalia, according to the sheriff’s office.

These six suspects were charged as a result:

  • Baxter Felix Vinson Jr., 41, charged with possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine and operating a stash house
  • Joshua Lee Dooley, 41, charged with possession of heroin
  • Thomas William Guinn, 26, charged with possession of heroin
  • Chelsea Marie Hobbs, 23, charged with possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine and possession of heroin
  • Gary Craig Phillips, 40, charged with possession of heroin, second offense
  • Jeremy Daniel Hill, 42, who had an outstanding warrant for third-degree burglary

The remaining suspects from each investigation were identified and released at the scenes, according to the sheriff’s office.
