Man arrested after allegedly running into a car and then shooting at the driver

A 19-year-old man has been arrested after allegedly running into a car and then shooting at it before driving away.

Tyski Antonio O’Neal Bryant, of Columbia, was arrested Friday morning and charged with attempted murder, shooting into a vehicle and possession of a weapon during a violent crime, according to a release from the Richland County Sheriff’s Department.

On May 17th, Bryant was allegedly driving a black mustang near Covenant Road when he allegedly ran into another vehicle. Bryant continued driving and the woman followed him, taking a picture of his license plate in the process, the release said.

Bryant eventually pulled over, but instead of exchanging insurance information he fired six shots at her vehicle, none of which struck her, according to the release.

Bryant is currently being held at Alvin S. Glenn Detention Center, jail records show.
