Sumter County deputies have arrested a man accused of pulling a gun on two people and punching a woman.

Adrian Robinson, 27, has been charged with third degree assault and battery and pointing and presenting firearms at a person, according to department spokesman Braden Bunch.

The woman confronted Robinson about having sex with her 16-year-old daughter on June 1, 2015, according to an arrest warrant. The woman told police her boyfriend and Robinson were about to fight, and that is when Robinson pulled the gun out like he was going to shoot her boyfriend.

The woman told police she jumped in front of her boyfriend and told Robinson if he was going to shoot anybody to shoot her, according to the arrest warrant. The woman said that is when Robinson punched her in the forehead.

There was a large contusion visible in the middle of the woman’s forehead, according to the warrant.
