Coroner ID’s two shooting victims who died at Richland County senior living community
The Richland County Coroner’s Office has identified the two people who died this week of shooting-related injuries at a local senior living community.
David Sprague, 83, and Phyllis Sprague, 86, of Columbia, were found dead inside of an apartment Tuesday, after Richland County Sheriff’s Office deputies were called to Harmony Collection on Clemson Road at about 2:30 p.m. Tuesday.
Both were pronounced dead at the scene.
The shooting investigation is ongoing. Deputies said there is not an ongoing threat to the community.
