4 people killed in Rock Hill home; shooting investigation underway

Authorities say four people were found dead in a home on Dunlap Roddey Road on Sunday evening in Rock Hill. Officials said it was a shooting.

The York County Sheriff’s Office is investigating. The victims’ identities were not released, pending notification to the their family members, Sheriff Bruce Bryant said.

The active crime scene is located near the Emmanuel Church of the Nazarene. Deputies responded to the home around 5:45 p.m., officials said.

Law enforcement officials said they were not searching for a suspect, as of 7:50 p.m.

Neighbors told The Herald on Sunday night that a family had just moved into the home about two weeks ago. County property records show the home was sold last month.

The home is located at 985 Dunlap Roddey Road, just south of Rock Hill city limits.
