1 arrested, 2 injured in late night Columbia gas station shooting

Columbia SC police have arrested a 19-year-old man and charged him in relation to a late-night shooting at a gas station that left two injured.

A 19-year-old man is facing charges related to a Columbia shooting that injured two others.

Columbia police have announced the arrest of Zachary Carrie on charges of discharging a firearm and breach of the peace of a high and aggravated nature.

The shooting occurred during an altercation between at least two groups of people at a gas station on the 2500 block of Two Notch Road around 11 p.m. Wednesday, police said. Two men were injured with apparently non-life-threatening injuries, according to police.

Columbia police are continuing to investigate the shooting.
