Richland County deputies search for individual in club shooting

Richland County sheriff’s deputies are searching for an individual they say fired shots into the ceiling of a nightclub early Sunday morning.

Sgt. Kevin Lawrence, a department spokesman, said deputies responded to the Pandora Bar and Lounge in the 800 block of Bush River Road at 2:30 a.m. in reference to a shots-fired call. When deputies arrived they spoke with the club’s manager and several witnesses who said they observed the individual standing near a wall when he began firing shots into the club’s ceiling.

Lawrence said witnesses saw the individual flee from the club in an unknown direction. There were no injuries reported during the shooting but there was minor property damage.
