Suspects who damaged truck, injured man at KKK rally sought

Columbia Police Department

Columbia police seek the public’s help in identifying three individuals who damaged a truck and injured a man during the July 18 Ku Klux Klan rally at the State House.

The suspects are accused of throwing rocks and metal pieces at the victim’s parked pick-up truck in the 1100 block of Assembly Street, injuring the man and causing thousands in damage, said Police Chief Skip Holbrook.

Holbrook said the first suspect was wearing rolled up light-colored blue jeans, a Chicago Bulls baseball cap, sunglasses and long dreadlocks; the second was shirtless and wearing black and white polka dot pants, black shoes and a black nylon cap; and the third wore a gray T-shirt and camouflage pants.

The suspects face breach of peace of a high and aggravated nature, malicious injury to property and assault charges, Holbrook said.
