Man shot into SC home with people inside, police say. They’re offering a cash award

Police are offering an award of up to $5,000 for information leading to the arrest of a man who shot into a South Carolina home Wednesday.

The Sumter Police Department issued a warrant for Ty’heim Anthony James, 21, of Robney Drive, Sumter.

Gunfire began around 7 a.m. Wednesday after //someone fired into his home from a passing car that sped away, police said. An investigation has found that James left his home soon after and began firing shots along Robney Drive and into a nearby home. Several people, including adults and children, were inside that home at the time it was struck by gunfire.

No injuries were reported, police said, but the home, adjacent property and nearby cars were damaged.
