2 wounded in SC apartment shooting behind elementary school, Columbia police say

Two people were injured in a shooting at a Columbia apartment building, according to the Columbia Police Department.

The shooting happened at 401 Columbiana Drive, police said, which is the Harbison Gardens complex behind Harbison West Elementary School on Friday night. It happened around 8:15 p.m., WLTX News reported.

Police said the injured people, both men, were taken to the hospital and treated for their injuries.

The reason behind the shooting is still unclear, police said. The motive and circumstances are still under investigation.

As of Saturday afternoon, no arrests have been made.
