Richland County Sheriff’s Department looking for Circle K robbery suspect

The Richland County Sheriff’s Department is asking for the community’s help in locating a suspect wanted for armed robbery.

A man entered the Circle K at 8500 Two Notch at 10:50 p.m. on July 23 with his face covered and holding a handgun, Sheriff Leon Lott said in a statement released Thursday. The suspect demanded money from an employee, provided a black backpack for cash, which he then stole before fleeing.

The suspect is described as a 6-foot tall black male, Lott said. His face was covered with a white cloth and wore a grey zip up jacket and grey jogging pants, with a white T-shirt and white sneakers.
