Richland County Sheriff’s Department looking attempted-murder suspect
The Richland County Sheriff’s Department is asking for the community’s help in locating a suspect wanted for attempted murder.
Justice Hamilton intentionally hit someone with her car following an altercation, Sheriff Leon Lott said in a statement released Monday.
Lott said the 20-year-old Hamilton was involved in a verbal altercation that became physical at 4 a.m. Sunday at the Shell Gas Station at 9050 Farrow Road. After being separated, Lott said Hamilton got into her SUV and intentionally hit the person she was arguing with before leaving.
After being hit by the car, Lott said the victim was taken to Palmetto Health Richland and was released Monday.
