Bodies of three people killed in shooting found inside South Carolina home, coroner says
Three people were recently killed in a shooting at a South Carolina home, according to the Berkeley County Coroner’s Office.
The victims in Monday’s shooting were 56-year-old Ridgeville resident Thomas Williams, 46-year-old Cross resident Torrionda Taylor and 55-year-old Summerville resident Marsena Moore, Coroner Darnell Hartwell said.
All three died from gunshot wounds, according to Hartwell.
At about 2:30 p.m. Monday, deputies were responding to a call about a shooting at a Popular Hill Drive home when they discovered the victims’ bodies, the Berkeley County Sheriff’s Office said. The home is in the Cross area of Berkeley County.
No other injuries were reported.
There was no word about a shooter or shooters, or anyone else involved in the gunfire. Information about a possible motive for the shooting was not available.
No arrests have been reported, but the triple homicide continues to be investigated by the sheriff’s office and the coroner’s office. Autopsies have been scheduled for all three victims, Hartwell said.
