Four men have been arrested after gunfire erupted at a Midlands gas station.

The Fairfield County Sheriff’s Office announced the arrests in a Facebook post on Saturday after men were seen shooting at each other outside the Pilot gas station on S.C. Highway 200 off of Interstate 77, north of Winnsboro.

Christian Blake, 24, of Great Falls; Johnquayvious Bowser, 24, of Great Falls; Dylan Glover, 23, of Columbia; and Isiah Greene, 22, of Columbia all face charges of malicious injury to personal property, discharging a firearm into an occupied vehicle, and breach of the peace. Glover and Greene also face a charge of conspiracy, and Greene was also charged with possession with intent to distribute marijuana, the sheriff’s office said.

The suspects were gone when sheriff’s deputies arrived at the gas station after 2:15 p.m. Friday. Witnesses described what they saw of the shooting, and surveillance footage showed some of the suspects leaving the scene in a dark-colored Toyota Camry, according to the sheriff’s office.

One suspect was located in the vicinity of the gas station, while Richland County sheriff’s deputies soon pulled over a Camry and detained the two men inside after a handgun was seen in plain view inside the car.

Investigators say the two groups of men met up at the gas station for “the sale and purchase of items,” as the sheriff’s Facebook post put it. A confrontation ensued, which escalated to the two sides exchanging gunfire.

No injuries were reported from the shooting. All four men were detained at the Fairfield County Detention Center.
