A former South Carolina corrections officer was arrested after furnishing contraband to inmates on multiple occasions, according to the state Department of Corrections.

Frank Kim Eaves, 58, was charged with providing prisoners with contraband and misconduct in office, according to a news release.

Between Jan. 23 and Feb. 10, Eaves, while working as a corrections officer at Camille Graham Correctional Institution, provided contraband to inmates within a restricted housing unit on more than one occasion, according to an arrest warrant.

The type of contraband Eaves passed is unclear.

Eaves circumvented security features and disregarded his official duties while intentionally concealing and ushering contraband to inmates, the warrant said.
