Midlands man arrested after being caught with a stolen motorcycle, SLED says
A South Carolina man was arrested after he was caught with a stolen motorcycle, according to the South Carolina Law Enforcement Division.
Zachary Jenkins, 35, was charged with possession of a stolen vehicle — value $10,000 or more last Friday, according to a news release.
Police say that on Oct. 9, 2025, Jenkins did “knowingly and willfully,” possess a stolen 2024 Kawasaki KRX motorcycle while at a Love’s Travel Stop, located at 701 White Pond Road in Kershaw County.
The bike had been reported stolen to the Polk County Sheriff’s Office in Columbus, NC, two days earlier, according to an arrest warrant.
Jenkins was positively identified by a witness during a photo lineup, the warrant said.
He was booked into the Kershaw County Detention Center.
