An Anderson woman was arrested for passing a bundle of stolen scratch-off tickets for a payout, according to the South Carolina Law Enforcement Division.

Kahlessa Marie Williams, 19, was charged with intent to defraud, counterfeit game tickets on Wednesday, according to a news release.

An investigation revealed that while working at a Stop-A-Minit convenience store, located at Pearman Dairy Road in Anderson, Williams removed scratch-off tickets from a dispenser she never paid for. The snatch-and-grab was captured on the store’s surveillance cameras, along with her cashing them in, according to a warrant.

She was booked into the Anderson County Detention Center.
