Woman stabbed to death in Lexington County during altercation, coroner says

A Lexington County woman is dead after being stabbed to death amid an altercation, according to the Lexington County Coroner’s Office.

Gabrielle Marie Cribb, 22, was pronounced dead after being transported to an area hospital due to multiple stab wounds, according to a news release.

The stabbing occurred at a residence in the 100 block of Marshall Road in the Gaston area on Friday around 3:20 a.m., the release said.

An autopsy is scheduled at MUSC in Charleston on Monday, May 4 at 8:30 a.m., according to the release.

The stabbing death remains under investigation by the Lexington County Coroner’s Office and the Lexington County Sheriff’s Department.
