A Lexington County woman is dead after being stabbed, according to the Lexington County Coroner’s Office.
Gabrielle Marie Cribb, 22, was stabbed multiple times and was pronounced dead after being taken to an area hospital, according to a Friday afternoon news release.
The stabbing occurred at a residence in the 100 block of Marshall Road in the Gaston area on Friday around 3:20 a.m., the release said.
An autopsy is scheduled at MUSC in Charleston on Monday, according to the release.
The stabbing death remains under investigation by the coroner’s office and the Lexington County Sheriff’s Department.
Multiple media outlets reported that Constance Lever was arrested following Cribb’s death. On Friday, Lever was charged with murder and possession of a weapon during a violent crime, jail records show.
