Two men were arrested after cashing in on a single lottery ticket multiple times, according to the South Carolina Law Enforcement Division.

Malachi Jamal Quesenberry, 24, was charged with conspiracy to commit lottery fraud Monday after conspiring with Malik Yates, 31, multiple times to pay out an instant scratch-off ticket without validating the ticket, according to an arrest warrant.

The multiple cashouts occurred at a Circle K, located at 1595 Trolley Road, where Quesenberry was formerly employed, the warrant said.

Yates was previously arrested and charged with conspiracy to commit lottery fraud on June 2, after cashing in the ticket at another location, according to a news release.

Both men were booked into the Dorchester County Detention Center.
