A Lexington County man was charged with sex crimes with a minor, according to court records.

Daniel Keith Rabon was arrested June 30 and charged with sexual exploitation of a minor in the third degree. He was a pastor at Taylor Street Baptist Church in Cayce, WIS reported. While his name was removed from the Lexington Baptist Association’s website by Thursday afternoon, internet archives identify him as the church’s pastor. The church’s Facebook page was unavailable.

According to an arrest warrant, Rabon was found at 5436 Platt Springs Road in possession of a cell phone with more than 26 image and video files of “morphed images of identifiable minors engaged in sexual activity” or in a state of “sexually explicit nudity.”

Rabon’s bond was set at $125,000 on Wednesday, according to court records. As of Thursday afternoon, Rabon was not being held at the Lexington County Detention Center, the inmate index showed.

The State has reached out to the S.C. Attorney General’s Office, which is prosecuting the case, for more information.
