Cayce Police have charged three people in connection to the 2024 slaying of Jalen L. Allen.

Damian Rayshaun Brown, 19, has been charged with murder, armed robbery, possession of a weapon during a violent crime and criminal conspiracy, the Cayce Police Department said as it announced the arrest Thursday. Brown is being held in the Lexington County Detention Center.

Two juveniles, whose names were not released, have also been arrested in connection with the case, police said.

In September 2024, Allen was a victim of a robbery at the Alight Apartments on Alexander Road when he was shot and killed, police said.

The investigation is ongoing and police are looking for Lakenya Ny’Kia Williams, 20, who is wanted on a warrant in connection with the September 2024 shooting.
