One dead and one injured after two-car collision, SC Highway Patrol says
One driver was killed and another injured after a two-car collision in Marion on July 12, the South Carolina Highway Patrol said.
Lance Cpl. Brittany Glover said a 1997 Toyota Corolla and a 2012 Hyundai Santa were both travelling north on Highway 41 near Ponderosa Road before colliding at an intersection.
Glover said the deceased driver was the sole occupant of the 1997 Toyota Corolla. The driver’s identity has not been made public
The crash remains under investigation by the highway patrol.
