Richland County Sheriff looking for two men suspected of burglary and larceny at Jimmy Rivers Automotive

The Richland County Sheriff’s Department is asking for the community’s help in identifying two suspects wanted for burglary and grand larceny.

Richland County Sheriff Leon Lott said on Aug. 2, two men climbed through a hole in a fence at Jimmy Rivers Automotive when the business located at 1620 Carnegie St. was closed. Once inside, Lott said the suspects stole tires, rims and a trunk lid of a vehicle — a total estimated at $2,500.

The suspects are described by Lott as two black males. Lott said the first suspect is approximately 6-feet tall with a medium build and the second suspect is approximately 5-9.

Anyone with information about this incident is asked to call Crimestoppers at 1-888-CRIME-SC.
