Columbia police investigating shooting at Gonzales Gardens

Columbia police are investigating a shooting that occurred Wednesday afternoon in Gonzales Gardens that wounded one, officials said.

Officials said the victim who was shot does not appear to have life-threatening injuries. Details are limited at this time, but officials said they have two male suspects detained at this time for questioning.

Investigators are remaining in the area to collect evidence and to interview witnesses.
