Newberry man faces multiple charges related to child pornography

NEWBERRY, SC A Newberry man is facing 14 charges related to child pornography after he allegedly downloaded child pornography via file sharing, South Carolina Attorney Gen. Alan Wilson said.

Wilson said Ryan Grayson Finney, 37, was charged with nine counts of second-degree sexual exploitation of a minor and five counts of third-degree sexual exploitation of a minor.

Finney was arrested following a joint investigation including the Newberry Police Department, Newberry County Sheriff’s Office and the S.C. Attorney General’s office, all of which are a part of the Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force.

The case will be prosecuted by the Attorney General’s office.
