Columbia Police calling discovery of dead man, woman at North Columbia residence suspicious

Two bodies were discovered in a north Columbia residence Sunday, and Columbia police are calling the deaths suspicious.

A man and woman were found dead in a home in the 4300 block of Clairton Street around 5 p.m., said police public information officer Jennifer Timmons.

The two were not identified Sunday.

Timmons said no other details would be released at this time, and an investigation is continuing. Autopsies are scheduled for Monday.
