Man wanted by Sumter County sheriff for several acts of sexual assault

Sumter County deputies are requesting the community’s assistance in locating a man recently placed on the sheriff’s office’s Most Wanted list for allegedly committing several acts of sexual assault.

Braden Bunch, a sheriff’s office spokesman, said 39-year-old Danny Renae Samuels, of 315 Corn Road in Sumter, faces two counts of third-degree criminal sexual conduct with a minor and one count of first-degree criminal sexual conduct.

Bunch said Samuels is described as a black male standing 6-foot 0-inches tall and weighing approximately 168-pounds. Samuels is said to have black hair and brown eyes.
