Columbia police seek man who robbed Tutti Frutti in Vista

Columbia police are searching for a man they say stole money during a robbery Thursday evening at the Tutti Frutti Frozen Yogurt shop in the Vista.

Jennifer Timmons, a department spokeswoman, said a man entered the business in the 1200 block of Lincoln Street at 7 p.m. and demanded money from the workers. The man acted like he had a weapon during the robbery, Timmons said, but investigators don’t think he actually had a weapon.

Anyone having information on the identity of a suspect in the robbery is urged to call Crimestoppers at 1 (888)-CRIME-SC.
