Officials search for Walden Correctional inmate who escaped

COLUMBIA, SC South Carolina Department of Corrections officials are requesting the public’s assistance in locating an inmate who escaped from the Walden Correctional Institute Sunday morning.

Franklin Graham, 28, escaped from the minimum level security prison, located in the 4300 block of Broad River Road, at 11:10 a.m., officials said.

Graham was sentenced to serve seven years after being convicted of second-degree burglary in Horry County, officials said.

Graham is described as a black male with a medium build, standing 5-foot 8-inches tall and weighs about 148-pounds. Graham has brown eyes and black hair.
