Sumter County deputies search for man wanted for several charges including drug distribution

Sumter County deputies are requesting the public’s assistance in locating a man they say has been placed on their “Most Wanted” list for drug charges and bench warrants.

Braden Bunch, a sheriff’s office spokesman, said 41-year-old Larry Dinkins, whose last known address is 40 Vidalia Court in Wedgefield, is wanted on a total of six arrest warrants. The warrants include two counts of distribution of crack cocaine, as well as bench warrants from magistrate court, family court and circuit court.

Bunch said Dinkins is also being south by the South Carolina Department of Probation, Parole and Pardon Services.

Dinkins is described as a black male standing 5-foot 8-inches tall and weighs about 240-pounds, Bunch said. Dinkins is said to be bald with brown eyes and black and white facial hair.
