A Gaston woman pleaded guilty Monday to calling in a bomb threat to Lexington County’s Marc H. Westbrook Judicial Center.

Julie Ann Riddle-Gonzalez, 64, called in the threat in Oct. 2014 to avoid going to court to face a fraudulent check charge, said Capt. Adam Myrick. The building was evacuated, no bomb was found and Riddle-Gonzalez was arrested the next day, Myrick said.

Riddle-Gonzalez received a seven-year sentence, said Myrick.
