Columbia man charged with 2015 fatal shooting, accomplices sought

Lexington County authorities have charged Camry Davonte Taylor, 20, in the fatal shooting of a 35-year-old Lexington County man at an apartment off Berryhill Road in the Columbia area of Lexington County on December 19, 2015.

Felix Jamal Jones was shot multiple times, Lexington County Sheriff Jay Koon said in a news release. He was driven to a Red Roof Inn where he died, Koon said.

“Our investigation into this shooting death is ongoing, but we don’t believe Taylor acted alone,” Koon said.

Authorities are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying and finding accomplices to the shooting.
